Overwhelming response to BOYCOTT BECK’s ADVERTISERS

July 31, 2009

WOW! I’ve had overwhelming responses from folks who are incensed over some corporate irresponsibility and trying to shuffle off the sponsorship of Glenn Beck’s show.  Some corporate responses have indicated that they “outsource” their advertising to third parties.

Other corporations have attempted to dodge responsibility by saying they advertise on a “variety” of shows to reach all levels of Americans.

Well, here’s my response to Chrysler Corporation.  Feel free to copy/amend/and send it yourself:

It’s unfortunate that you will not consider removing your advertisements from Mr. Beck’s show.

Many people may not take the time to write you, but I am only one of many concerned citizens who see corporate responsibility as a prime topic in the minds of American consumers these days.  You could continue to advertise in venues that do not promote hatred, over-throwing our government or inciting violence against our highest elected official.

It’s sad you don’t see any connection between being a responsible corporation and endorsing and supporting someone like Glenn Beck.  I am confident the choices of the Americans who detest racist cowardice will show you our position.
